WM-Splitter: entschuldigte und unentschuldigte Vorfälle

Nein, wir reden jetzt mal nicht von den zum Teil grotesken Torhüterpannen bei der WM. Auch anderswo wird kräftig ins Fettnäpfchen getreten, wofür man sich dann entschuldigen, ja bis zur höchsten Instanz rechtfertigen muss. Nehmen wir drei Beispiele mit Fernsehbezug, aus England, Deutschland und Korea.
Die Engländer traf es hart. Die einzige nennenswerte Szene der englischen Auftaktpartie, die von Erfolg gekrönt war, hatte der übertragende Sender ITV ausgeblendet. Werbung lief, als Steven Gerrard in der 4. Minute das 1:0 gegen die USA erzielte. Hatte ITV nicht damit gerechnet, dass England so schnell oder überhaupt ein Tor schießen könnte? Der Erklärungsversuch des Moderators (in der Halbzeit!) war jedenfalls ziemlich lahm: „Ich glaube, es gab eine Unterbrechung in unserer Ãœbertragung.“ (Ob ITV auch im vergangenen Jahr so lapidar vermerkt hat, dass man ganz ähnlich den Siegtreffer von Everton gegen den FC Liverpool im FA-Cup verpasste?)
Noch härter, weil wesentlich brisanter und politischer ist der Fall in Deutschland. ZDF-Moderatorin Katrin Müller-Hohenstein ließ in der Halbzeitanalyse zu Kloses Tor gegen Australien die Sau raus: „Und für Miroslav Klose ein innerer Reichsparteitag, jetzt mal ganz im Ernst, dass er heute hier trifft.“ Unschön, ganz zweifellos und nicht gerade sehr überlegt.
