Theo Zwanziger schließt seinen Rücktritt ein

Die Sache wird immer rätselhafter: Theo Zwanziger hat auf einer Pressekonferenz heute mitgeteilt, über seinen Rücktritt nachdenken zu werden, verlöre er ein viertes Mal vor Gericht gegen Jens Weinreich. „Wenn das verfassungsrechtlich zulässig ist, werde ich sehr ernsthaft erwägen, ob ich dieses Amt weiterführe.“ Weinreich hat ihn in diesem Blog („in einem öffentlichen Internet-Blog“, wie es auf Agenturdeutsch heißt) einen „Demagogen“ genannt.
Die Einstweiligen Verfügungen des DFB gegen Weinreich scheiterten im Herbst vor zwei Berliner Gerichten. Weinreich hingegen gelang es, gegen den DFB eine Einstweilige Verfügung zu erwirken: Der DFB darf nun unter anderem nicht mehr, wie in einer Pressemitteilung geschehen, behaupten, Weinreich habe Zwanziger „ohne Anlass“ einen Demagogen genannt.
Zum Hintergrund: Zwanziger hat in einem Interview mit mir dargelegt, warum er so verletzt auf Weinreichs Wortwahl reagiert habe.
